1 ) I want to know how old you are. –Uncle Kurt.

• I just turned 23.

2 ) And when’s your birthday, because I forget. –Uncle Kurt.

• September, 24th, (1986).

3 ) Are you working? –Uncle Kurt.

• At the moment I’m working at the local Blockbuster a shift or two a week just to have some steady money. In between I’m doing theater jobs or auditions. [Edit:] Also I’ll be working at Greenfield Village this summer.

4 ) Do you have a car? –Uncle Kurt.

• [Edit:] Looking for one!

5 ) What’s your five year plan? –Uncle Kurt.

• In no particular order I want to be finished with school, steadily performing, have fully written at least one – hopefully two – of my script ideas, and have recorded at least an album-full of original songs.

6 ) Did you have some time off to do anything fun this summer? –Uncle Kurt.

• I had a lot of time off, but not much money to do anything fun. But I did save up a bit and finally get back to Cedar Point for a day trip.

7 ) What’s your favorite album of all time? –Uncle Kurt.

• I’m torn between On A Clear Night and The Sound of White, both by Missy Higgins. Her writing is fantastic and I want to learn to play every single song of hers on piano and guitar.

8 ) Where in the world would you like to go if you had the chance to go right now? –Uncle Kurt.

• I’d take a trip to the UK. Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, and all that. Always wanted to go, and I could visit some old friends from New York in their hometowns, so that’d be fun.
